Donald Trump’s deputy campaign manager on Wednesday said Hillary Clinton’s health is “absolutely” an issue, along with her stamina.
“I think absolutely her health is an issue,” David Bossie, Mr. Trump’s deputy campaign manager, said on “Fox and Friends.” “Her stamina is an issue, whether or not she’s going to be able to fulfill her office.”
“That’s something that every four years, whether it’s John McCain, Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, going back to President Reagan … people want to know that their president that they’re electing is going to be able to serve those four years, and I think there’s lots of questions,” Mr. Bossie said of the Democratic presidential nominee.
Mrs. Clinton was seen nearly collapsing while leaving a 9/11 memorial event earlier this month and had battled a bout with pneumonia. Both Mr. Trump and Mrs. Clinton have released recent testimonials from their respective doctors attesting to their health.
Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, a prominent Trump supporter, has encouraged people to go online and type in “Hillary Clinton illness” to investigate things for themselves.
The Clinton campaign, however, has said it was Mr. Trump who was looking like he was running out of gas during Monday’s debate.
