Just another power couple sharing a ride.

President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama arrived on separate planes within minutes of each other at Joint Base Andrews on Wednesday evening — he on Air Force One, she on a plain white jet.

Mr. Obama was returning from a visit with troops at Fort Lee, Virginia; Mrs. Obama was coming home from a day of campaigning for Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Obama waited aboard the presidential plane until her jet landed and parked alongside Air Force One. Then he walked over to his wife’s plane, boarded, and emerged with her moments later.

The president and first lady then strode across the rain-soaked tarmac to Marine One, the presidential helicopter, and flew back to the White House.
