EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - The Eugene City Council has decided how to spend the money that would be collected if voters approve a local sales tax.

The Register-Guard reports (https://bit.ly/2d9uHky ) the revenue would go toward social services, security at parks and a new community court.

City voters will decide on the 3 percent tax in the Nov. 8 election. If approved, the tax is estimated to bring in $200,000 to $600,000 annually.
