YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - Police say 50 bags of grass seed have been stolen from an Arizona baseball stadium.

Yuma police spokeswoman Sgt. Lori Franklin tells The Yuma Sun (https://bit.ly/2ddwIuJ ) that a thief or thieves broke into the Ray Kroc Stadium sometime between Saturday evening and Sunday morning and stole the bags.

Franklin says $2,725 worth of grass seed was stolen and each bag weighed about 50 pounds. She says the groundskeeper discovered the theft when he came to work Sunday.

Franklin says no employees were on duty at the time of the theft and police don’t have any suspects yet.
