WESTMORELAND, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police are investigating a fatal car crash that left a 52 year-old women dead.
Police said that Lorrie Valentine of Walpole was traveling north on Route 12 when she lost control of her 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Her vehicle then crossed over the southbound lane, struck an embankment and flipped over.
Police responded to the Saturday night crash around 7:48 p.m. Route 12 was closed for two and a half hours.
Valentine was the only person in the vehicle.
Police are investigating whether speed and alcohol contributed to the crash.
