BANGOR, Maine (AP) - Maine Gov. Paul LePage says he can’t be wrong 100 percent of the time but that’s how he’s portrayed in the media.

LePage used a Constitution Week Forum at his alma mater, Husson University, to take a shot at the news coverage of his administration last week.

He says news reporters are more interested in a catching him in “seven-second sound bite” than issues like fighting poverty and taking care of the elderly.

He also says he’s considering legal action over a newspaper column in which a health care professional suggested the governor had a drinking problem. WLBZ-TV reports that he told the audience that that media has a “built-in bias that we’ve all known for years and years and years.”
