EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — After playing the first two games, Washington Redskins rookie wide receiver Josh Doctson is inactive against the New York Giants.

Doctson missed training camp and the preseason because of left Achilles tendon tendinitis, but was able to play in the first two games. He had a 57-yard reception last week in the Redskins’ loss to the Dallas Cowboys and was targeted three times in the end done.

Wide receiver Rashad Ross, who was inactive for the first two games, is active.

For the second consecutive week, Redskins defensive end Kendall Reyes was inactive because of a groin injury. Reyes did not practice all week after missing last week’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The other following Redskins players are inactive against the New York Giants: quarterback Nate Sudfeld, left guard Arie Kouandjio, defensive end Anthony Lanier, cornerback Kendall Fuller and inside linebacker Martrell Spaight.

Center Kory Lichtensteiger was limited on Thursday and Friday because of back spasms, but was active against the Giants. Inside linebacker Su’a Cravens also was not listed on the injury report until Friday with a hip injury, but was active as well.
