MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Seattle’s Nelson Cruz made Target Field look small when he hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning on Saturday night that reached the third deck in left field .

Cruz’s 39th homer of the season would have gone 493 feet had it landed unimpeded, according to Statcast. The drive was the second-longest in the majors this season, just behind Miami’s Giancarlo Stanton, who connected for a 504-foot homer off Colorado’s Chad Bettis on Aug. 6 at Coors Field.

Cruz had hit the facing above the batter’s eye in center field on Friday, a drive Statcast said would have gone 454 feet unimpeded.
