Sometimes you sneak your phone under the table to check out a text. Maybe you’re following a game on Twitter, or maybe it’s some other form of news you just have to know as quickly as possible.
But if you are Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback Carson Wentz, sometimes you just have to take a quick break to improve as a quarterback.
According to a piece by the New York Post, Wentz’s girlfriend, Melissa Uhrich, said sometimes her boyfriend has other things to focus on while on dates.
“While Wentz has since turned pro and become Philadelphia’s prized franchise quarterback, Uhrich continues to support him as she did during their college years. And while she won’t hesitate to take his cellphone away during date nights — he was caught watching game film under the dinner table — she understands how much her boyfriend is dedicated to his craft.”
At least she seems pretty understanding. Wentz and the two make a happy couple.
