LEWISTOWN, Montana (AP) - In a story about a radio host killed in a motorcycle crash, The Associated Press reported erroneously the name of the victim. His full name was Brian Scott Gamroth, not Brian Scott, which he used on the air.

A corrected version of the story is below:

Wyoming man killed in motorcycle crash near Lewistown

A Wyoming radio DJ has died after a two-motorcycle crash in central Montana

LEWISTOWN, Montana (AP) - A Wyoming radio DJ has died after a two-motorcycle crash in central Montana.

Brian Scott Gamroth died Sunday near Lewistown, Montana, as he returned from a Shriner’s event in Canada.

Montana Highway Patrol says Gamroth and another motorcyclist were traveling eastbound when they attempted to pass westbound vehicles. Oncoming traffic forced both riders to veer back into the east lane, connecting with each other and causing them both to crash.

Gamroth, who was known on the air as Brian Scott, was killed on the scene. The other man was taken to Lewistown with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

Both men were from Wyoming.
