ASHBURN – As the Washington Redskins prepare to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers for their season opener, a number of players are listed as questionable for the matchup.

Wide receiver Josh Doctson, who has dealt with a left achilles tendon strain since organized team activities in the spring, returned to practice this week. Previously limited, he participated in full in Saturday’s walkthrough. The Redskins’ 2016 first-round pick did not play in any of Washington’s preseason games.

Running back Matt Jones suffered a separated shoulder in the Redskins’ second preseason game against the New York Jets. But Jones has powered through his rehabilitation, and expects to be available for Monday night’s game. Jones is listed as questionable, but has been a full participant in practice for the week.

A groin injury limited defensive end Kendall Reyes in practice on Thursday and Friday, but he was a full participant in Saturday’s practice.

“Groin’s a lot better,” Reyes said. “Still got a little bit of work to do on it, but I’m doing a lot better. I’m doing everything I can to be ready for Monday.”

A lower back injury forced nose tackle Kedric Golston out of Saturday’s practice, but Golston said he expects to be ready by Monday.

Spencer Long is listed as questionable with an ankle injury, but the offensive guard has been a full participant in Washington’s last three practices.

For the Steelers, wide receiver Markus Wheaton will be out for Monday’s game with a shoulder injury.
