CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Supreme Court is going to Bishop Guertin High School as part of its “On the Road” series.
All five justices will hear two arguments on Thursday at the school in Nashua. They will hear State v. Kyree Rice, regarding a brawl and a shooting at a fast-food restaurant; and State v. Remi Gross-Santos, about a car accident that resulted in serious injuries.
The court started its “On the Road” series in 2002. Bishop Guertin is the 18th location.
The event provides students and community members the chance to see the state’s highest court up close and learn about its work through a dialogue with the lawyers arguing the two cases and the justices.
“On the Road” is the only time when the court convenes outside the Supreme Court building in Concord.
The court is made up of Chief Justice Linda Stewart Dalianis; Senior Associate Justice Gary E. Hicks; Associate Justice Carol Ann Conboy; Associate Justice Robert J. Lynn; and Associate Justice James P. Bassett.
