TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - The highest-ranking woman in New Jersey government says she won’t vote for Donald Trump.

Republican Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno (gwah-DAHN’-yoh) told NJ.com (https://bit.ly/2e1SYY0) Sunday that she can’t support Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. But she hasn’t decided whether she’ll support another candidate or not vote at all.

Guadagno was one of several GOP lawmakers in New Jersey and around the nation who slammed Trump over sexually charged comments toward women he made in 2005 that were caught on tape.

Rep. Frank LoBiondo said he will write in Trump’s running mate, Mike Pence, for president. Rep. Scott Garrett said Pence would be “the best nominee for the Republican Party.”

Former Republican Gov. Christie Todd Whitman also confirmed Saturday she won’t vote for Trump and instead will back Clinton.

Gov. Chris Christie has remained quiet.
