Condemnation of Donald Trump is pouring in from virtually everywhere - including Tic Tac headquarters.
The popular breath mind brand, invoked by the billionaire Republican in a 2005 recording in which he bragged about being able to grope women because of his celebrity status, blasted Mr. Trump on Twitter late Saturday afternoon.
“Tic Tac respects all women,” the brand tweeted. “We find the recent statements and behavior completely inappropriate and unacceptable.”
Mr. Trump mentioned the mint candies when discussing potentially kissing actress Arianne Zucker.
“I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her,” Mr. Trump said, before going on to say that as a celebrity he can “do anything” he wants to women.
