CLEVELAND (AP) - Former U.S. Rep. Gabby Giffords is bringing her bus tour backing gun safety legislation to Ohio this weekend.
Giffords will be in Cleveland Saturday afternoon to campaign for candidates who support gun legislation.
She’ll be joined by former Democratic governor Ted Strickland who’s running for the U.S. Senate in Ohio.
Giffords survived an assassination attempt in 2011 in Arizona. Half of her body remains paralyzed and she has a speaking disorder.
She’s making just one appearance in Ohio, but the bus tour will make stops in Toledo, Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus.
