ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) - The Buffalo Bills have activated Marcell Dareus even though the star defensive tackle is questionable to play Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams due to a hamstring injury.

Dareus was formally added to Buffalo’s 53-player roster on Friday. He rejoined the team this week after serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

Dareus was hurt during practice on Friday, as was running back LeSean McCoy, who is also listed as questionable because of a hand injury.

Neither player spoke to reporters following practice, but McCoy told ESPN his injury is minor and he expects to play.

In adding Dareus, the Bills placed receiver Greg Salas on injured reserve because of a groin injury.

The Bills have ruled out offensive linemen Cyrus Kouandijo (ankle) and Patrick Lewis (knee) and cornerback Corey White (shoulder). Cornerback Stephon Gilmore (ankle), offensive tackle Cordy Glenn (ankle), tight end Charles Clay (knee), fullback Jerome Felton (back) and safety Jonathan Meeks (foot) are all questionable to play.

Buffalo also released guard Terran Vaughn from its practice squad.
