CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A Cheyenne pharmacy employee has been injured after a carjacking and attempted robbery.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports (https://bit.ly/2dzSkBU ) that Cheyenne police say three men are believed to have stolen a woman’s SUV in Wheatland before coming to Cheyenne and opening fire at a Medicap Pharmacy.

The pharmacy employee who was injured shot back at the three suspects, forcing them to flee.

The SUV was found shortly after the shooting but police are still searching for the three suspects.

Officials say the injured pharmacy employee was transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and is being treated for an injured leg.
