CHALLIS, Idaho (AP) - Investigators have found no evidence that a Tuesday morning fire at a U.S. Bureau of Land Management office in central Idaho was caused by a criminal act.
The Idaho Statesman reports (https://bit.ly/2dv3b3w ) that the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives announced Wednesday that investigators found no accelerant or any other evidence that would point to arson at the Challis facility.
The Tuesday fire destroyed the BLM’s building but no dollar damage estimate was available. No injuries were reported.
BLM officials said Tuesday it was too early to determine the scope of the loss of documents and computer files
