SNOW HILL, Md. (AP) - Several roads remain closed in Worcester County because of damage caused by recent flooding.

Maryland State Highway officials said Monday that a part of Snow Hill Road will remain closed for at least three weeks after the heavy rains and flooding last week washed out pipes that run under the road. The closed area is west of Furnace Road on the outskirts of Snow Hill.

It is unclear how much it will cost to repair the road.

Snow Hill Road and several other roads in Worcester County remain impassable and making it more difficult for drivers seeking to get to Snow Hill from Salisbury.

The National Weather Service says there is still flooding along the Pocomoke River, particularly in Snow Hill.
