EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. (AP) - State police say an eastern Pennsylvania church has been targeted with graffiti criticizing Donald Trump, as well as obscene sexual and anti-Semitic images.

Troopers say the Wooddale United Methodist Church was targeted sometime late Saturday into Sunday morning.

Police haven’t specifically described the words and symbols that were spray-painted on the church in Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County. That’s about 50 miles southeast of Scranton.

Church members have painted over the graffiti but say the entire outside of the church will need to be repainted.

Church member Jeffrey Helms says the graffiti included vulgar messages, an insulting sexual depiction of a Trump supporter and a swastika.
