AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - A Texas duplex home being transported was affixed with a yellow “wide load” banner - but it still turned out to be a little too wide.

The house on a truck remains in the middle of East Live Oak Street in southern Austin on Monday, after workers moving it from one lot to another got stuck over the weekend.

The roof and part of the home’s side became wedged between tree branches. The moving company spent hours attempting to cut through the foliage and free it, but couldn’t.

The road is closed and crews won’t attempt to free and move the home until Monday evening.

Austin city officials say the moving company didn’t have a permit to move the home and could be fined.
