HEREFORD, Pa. (AP) - State police have identified a man found dead at an eastern Pennsylvania motel, but say its cause is still being investigated.

The dead man is 50-year-old David Moyer.

He was found unresponsive shortly before 10 a.m. Sunday at the Cab Motel in Hereford Township, Berks County.

Troopers from the Reading barracks spent about eight hours at the scene gathering evidence, including drug paraphernalia from the room.

The county coroner says he has no new information to report and referred questions to the state police on Monday who, also, have no new details.

The dead man had reportedly been staying in the motel for an extended time before he was found dead.
