QUEEK CREEK, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say seven workers have been injured after a church that’s under construction in Queen Creek partially collapsed.

Rural/Metro fire officials say two of the workers suffered serious injuries in Monday afternoon’s incident.

They say it’s not immediately clear how a portion of the roof collapsed on the workers.

The Heart Cry Church is being built in the area of the Hunt Highway.
