MONTICELLO, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say a Pine Bluff man has been killed in a shooting at a gas station in Monticello.

State police say 25-year-old Hunter Laney was shot shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday as he sat in the driver’s seat of his vehicle outside the station on U.S. Highway 278.

No arrests were announced.

State police say the shooting appears to be related to a dispute that began earlier at a nightclub in Monticello and that a sport utility vehicle had followed Laney onto the parking lot and someone inside the SUV began shooting into Laney’s vehicle.

A woman who was with Laney was wounded and taken to a hospital in undisclosed condition while a third person in Laney’s vehicle was not injured.
