BOSTON (AP) - Boston Mayor Marty Walsh is the latest Massachusetts Democrat heading out of state to drum up support for his party’s presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
On Saturday Walsh will travel to Pittsburgh as a surrogate for the Clinton campaign.
Walsh will join local leaders, including Democratic Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto, for a breakfast at a local diner to discuss the election with voters.
Walsh, a former labor union official, will also help kick off a labor walk in support of Clinton with hundreds of union members.
Also Saturday, Democratic U.S. Sen. Edward Markey is heading to New Hampshire to canvass for Clinton.
One recent poll showed Clinton with a 26-point advantage over Republican Donald Trump in Massachusetts, freeing up Democrats to campaign out of state for their party’s nominee.
