CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A former New Hampshire police officer is suing her employer and the town, saying she was fired after complaining about sexual harassment from a lieutenant who allegedly ranked female drivers on a “rapability” scale.
Alexandra Drake, of Nashua, says in the federal lawsuit that the New Boston Police Department failed to investigate the conduct and instead “made false, slanderous and libelous allegations” against her.
The 24-year-old Drake accuses her former supervisor of making inappropriate comments to her and about female co-workers. She said during traffic stops, he’d comment about the attractiveness of female drivers whom he ranked on a “rapability” scale.
Drake was fired for allegedly falsifying a police report in 2014. She says the lieutenant told her to do it.
Town officials say Drake’s complaint contains inaccuracies.
