BLAIRSTOWN, N.J. (AP) - State police say a man sought in the killing of a woman whose body was found in a Warren County home has been found dead in a nearby town from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The woman’s body was found around 1 a.m. Wednesday when troopers responded to a domestic disturbance call at her Cherry Tree Lane home.
Investigators soon learned the woman lived with a 55-year-old man and authorities started searching for him so they could question him about the death.
The man was found dead around 9:25 a.m. Wednesday at a business in Frelinghuysen Township.
State police declined further comments on the deaths and the domestic dispute, citing the ongoing investigation.
The names of the man and woman were not released pending notification of relatives.
