MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Hillary Clinton’s running mate Tim Kaine plans to campaign in Appleton and Madison next week.
Clinton’s campaign announced Wednesday that Kaine will make stops in the two cities on Tuesday, exactly one week before the election.
Kaine was last in Wisconsin on Aug. 16 for a Madison fundraiser. His only other public event was a rally Aug. 5 in Milwaukee. Clinton has not campaigned in Wisconsin since losing the state’s primary in April.
No details about Kaine’s upcoming events were immediately released. The announcement says Kaine will be urging voters to cast their ballots early.
Other Clinton surrogates have been making the rounds in the state, including her daughter Chelsea Clinton who made three stops on Tuesday.
Republican nominee Donald Trump held a rally in Green Bay last week.
