MATIETTA, Ga. (AP) - Police in Marietta are urging customers to monitor their bank accounts after officers say they caught a Wells Fargo employee committing fraud using information from multiple accounts.

Officer Brittany Wallace tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (https://on-ajc.com/2eFvbNK) 24-year-old Kwasi Adadevoh, of Marietta, was arrested after an undercover officer spotted him approaching a Wells Fargo ATM on Sept. 28 in gloves, a mask and a hooded sweatshirt.

Wallace said Tuesday officers found several bank documents in the passenger seat of his car.

A sheriff’s office spokesman said Adadevoh was released from the Cobb County Adult Detention Center on Sept. 29 on $8,000 bond.

The Wells Fargo Fraud Department is investigating the alleged fraud.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for Adadevoh.
