MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) - A 64-year-old woman from Dallas, Georgia, has claimed her $7.5 million lottery prize - three months after the numbers were announced.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (https://on-ajc.com/2ebwi7g ) reports Christina Ford split the $15 million Mega Millions jackpot drawn July 22 with someone who purchased a ticket in Virginia. On Tuesday, she received $5.1 million before federal and state taxes were withheld.

The winning numbers were: 8-24-25-26-30 and the Mega Ball was 7.

According to a news release, Ford says she thought it was a dream when she saw the numbers on television and kept saying, “This can’t be true.”

The agency says it took her three months to claim the prize because she was planning for her windfall. She says she intends to use the money to vacation and share with family.
