RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Officials say a suicide vest, two guns and an old military manual on bombs found inside a checked bag at Richmond International Airport turned out to be props.

Transportation Security Administration officials tell media outlets that the items discovered Saturday were all realistic props for a live action role-playing game.

TSA agents searched the bag after it triggered an alarm and had to be pulled from the conveyor belt.

After discovering the items, TSA explosives experts and airport police were called. The bag’s owner, a Henrico County resident, was also detained.

TSA’s Richmond Federal Security Director Chuck Burke says there was nothing harmful in the bag. The suicide vest was fake, and the guns were plastic replicas.
