Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine said he suspects a recent warning directed at him from WikiLeaks will turn out to be a “big yawn.”

“I suspect it’s a big yawn,” Mr. Kaine said on “The Axe Files” CNN podcast, which was posted online Monday.

On Thursday, WikiLeaks had tweeted: “We have a suprise [sic] in store for @TimKaine and @DonnaBrazile,” referring to Mr. Kaine and Ms. Brazile, the interim chair of the Democratic National Committee.

“I think what he said is ’I’ve got a surprise,’ ” Mr. Kaine said. “Well, I think [we’ve] got a surprise for WikiLeaks.”

“You may think that you can destabilize an American election, but you’re going to find that you can’t,” Mr. Kaine said.

WikiLeaks is continuing to release private emails apparently showing some of the internal workings of both Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Obama administration.
