CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A new care center for the homeless is opening in Nashua.

Project supporters say it will serve to bridge the difference between a hospital and a home.

Health care services will be offered for those suffering from mental and behavioral health and substance misuse issues.

A ceremony on the opening of the Peggy and David Gilmour Medical Respite Center is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday at the offices of Harbor Homes and the Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center. Peggy Gilmour is a Democratic politician from Nashua.
