AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - Maine donors are continuing to flock to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at much higher numbers than her GOP rival Donald Trump.
Clinton’s federal campaign finance filings show she received $405,100 from Maine donors in September, more than 15 times as much as Trump.
The Portland Press Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2etVkzF) that Clinton has received a total $1.3 million from Maine donors compared to Trump’s $152,600.
Clinton’s top Maine donors include best-selling author Stephen King of Bangor, while Trump’s include Maine lobster dealer Linda Bean, a member of the Bean family.
