A fan ran onto Soldier Field, the home of the Chicago Bears, during the Bears game against the Detroit Lions.
The fan was wearing a gorilla costume with an “All Lives Matter” shirt.

The fan was tackled by security after running on the field for a considerable amount of time.
The incident comes just a few days after Tristan Rettke, a student at East Tennessee State University, was arrested and charged with a felony account of civil rights intimidation after attending a Black Lives Matter rally dressed as a gorilla, carrying a rope and passing out bananas.
Civil rights issues within the United States has dominated coverage at the NFL level. San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick first sparked the conversation after he opted to sit during the national anthem to raise awareness for the issue. Kaepernick has since changed his form of protest to taking a knee during the anthem.
