CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Officials in Casper are considering eliminating some snow removal routes to save money.

Streets superintendent Shad Rogers says up to 20 percent of the streets now being plowed could be skipped without having much of an impact on city transportation.

According to the Casper Star-Tribune (https://tinyurl.com/hof343p ), the city is now plowing nearly 50 miles of roads.

City manager V.H. McDonald says the city council is not being asked to cut any routes unless the city budget requires more cuts.
