MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Gov. Scott Walker plans to join Sen. Ron Johnson on a campaign swing across Wisconsin.
Walker and Wisconsin Republican Party Chairman Brad Courtney plan to campaign with Johnson across the state on Sunday, just a little over two weeks before Election Day.
Johnson is running for re-election against former Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold. Johnson beat Feingold in 2010, ending his 18-year run in the Senate.
Walker has said he planned to focus on helping Johnson in the waning days of the race.
The state Republican Party says Walker, Johnson and Courtney plan to campaign in Eau Claire, Wausau, Green Bay and Waukesha. Details about the stops are still being finalized.
