ATLANTA (AP) - MARTA police officers are investigating after a body was found in the trunk of a car.
MARTA spokeswoman Alisa Jackson tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (https://on-ajc.com/2dyMXDR ) that the victim appears to be an adult male.
Jackson says police received a call about 10 a.m. Tuesday about a car in the north parking lot of the H.E. Holmes MARTA station, which is a free parking lot. Jackson says the body was found in the trunk during an initial investigation.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office was called to retrieve the body.
The death is being investigated as a homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call MARTA police at 404-848-4911.
