First lady Michelle Obama will campaign in Phoenix on Thursday on behalf of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
The announcement by Clinton’s campaign follows word that daughter Chelsea Clinton will campaign for her mother in Tempe on Wednesday and that Sen. Bernie Sanders will campaign for Hillary Clinton in Flagstaff and Tucson on Tuesday.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign says Obama will address a Democratic Party rally on early voting and says details about the event will be released soon.
Hillary Clinton hasn’t visited Arizona since March as she focuses on battleground states, but the presidential race in traditionally Republican-leaning Arizona is seen as tightening.
Republican nominee Donald Trump has held six rallies in the state since July 2015.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign says Chelsea Clinton will attend an Arizona Democratic Party early vote rally on Wednesday at Arizona State University in Tempe, while Sanders will hold early voting rallies in Flagstaff and Tucson on Tuesday.
