HOPKINTON, Mass. (AP) - A mother and her three children were in a crosswalk outside Boston when a car struck the group.

Hopkinton Police say the accident happened on Hayden Rowe Street in Hopkinton Monday morning.

Police say the woman driving the car had stopped for the pedestrians when another car crashed from behind.

Witnesses told police the woman’s car was propelled off the road and the other car continued on, striking the stroller.

All of the pedestrians were conscious when emergency crews took them to a hospital. Their injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.

Police didn’t immediately identify anyone involved in the crash and wouldn’t comment on their injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

A man told the Worcester Telegram & Gazette his wife, 4-year-old son and 2-year-old twins were involved in the crash but were doing fine.
