TORONTO (AP) - Jose Bautista is batting leadoff as the Toronto Blue Jays try to snap out of their offensive funk in the AL Championship Series.

Toronto scored one run over the first two games and trails Cleveland 2-0 in the series heading into Game 3. Ezequiel Carrera led off for the Blue Jays in their previous four games. He is hitting eighth Monday.

Devon Travis, who hit leadoff for Toronto’s first two games of the postseason, is out for the year with a knee injury.

Bautista hit leadoff some in the regular season, and now the Blue Jays will open the game offensively with a powerful foursome of Bautista, Josh Donaldson, Edwin Encarnacion and Troy Tulowitzki.
