PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Alek Torgersen tossed three touchdown passes to help Penn beat Columbia 35-10 on Saturday.

Penn (3-2, 2-0 Ivy) has beaten Columbia in 20 consecutive games and is 44-5 all-time against the Lions (1-4, 0-1) at home. Torgersen completed 17 of 27 attempts for 241 yards. Tre Solomon rushed for 127 yards with a touchdown and threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Cameron Countryman in the fourth quarter. Christian Pearson caught two touchdown passes, while Justin Watson had six catches for 114 yards and a TD.

Solomon’s first-quarter 1-yard TD plunge, which followed Nick Miller’s interception at the Columbia 9, was the only scoring of the first half.

In the third, Torgersen hooked up with Watson for a 46-yard TD pass and later hit Pearson on a 50-yard bomb.

Anders Hill completed 17 of 34 attempts for 179 yards with an interception for Columbia. Hunter Petlansky scored on a 1-yard, third-quarter plunge.
