MONTREAL (AP) - Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price will sit out at least one more game because of the flu.

The team said Friday that Price will not play Saturday night in Ottawa after missing a 4-1 victory in Buffalo on Thursday night in the opener.

A Tweet from the club said: “Medical update: C. Price: severe case of flu, accompanied by fever, is taking antibiotics, resting at home, evaluated daily by Dr. (David) Mulder.”

Price has not played for Montreal since he injured a knee last Nov. 25, but returned in full health to help Canada win the World Cup of Hockey in September. Al Montoya was expected to make a second start in goal, with Charlie Lindgren as backup.

The Canadiens will have defenseman Jeff Petry back from an injury.
