BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A 56-year-old Billings man awaiting trial for raping two women and harassing them online has been arrested for using Facebook to harass a Flathead County woman.

The Billings Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/2dNjsNP ) Leslie Dan Ernst was arrested on Oct. 6 for contempt of court. He had been free on a $50,000 bond. District Judge Michael Moses on Tuesday set Ernst’s bail at $75,000 and set a Nov. 7 hearing on whether his release should be revoked.

Ernst faces trial next month on charges alleging he schemed to rape a woman who reported he had sexually assaulted her as a young girl. He also is charged with raping a woman in 2004. Prosecutors allege he contacted both women via social media.

In May, a Flathead County woman reported she was being harassed by Ernst and then received vulgar and obscene messages.
