ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - The Latest on a fatal Anchorage traffic crash (all times local):

10:30 a.m.

Anchorage police have released the name of a man who died Tuesday in a traffic crash.

Police say 57-year-old Joseph Pineda died.

The cause of death remains under investigation. Police say Pineda may have suffered a medical problem before the crash.

Pineda shortly before 5 p.m. was driving south on Elmore Road in east Anchorage and made a right turn onto Dowling Road.

However, his car crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a sport utility vehicle head-on.

Doctors at an Anchorage hospital pronounced Pineda dead.

Two people in the SUV were treated for injuries police describe as non-life-threatening.

Police say the man was driving a car south on Elmore Road and started making a right turn onto Dowling Road.

Instead of completing the turn, the driver drove into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with a sport utility vehicle.

The driver of the car was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead.

Police say two people in the SUV suffered injuries that were not considered life

An autopsy has been ordered for the driver who crashed head on just before 5 p.m. in east Anchorage.

Police say the man was driving a car south on Elmore Road and started making a right turn onto Dowling Road.

The driver of the car was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead.

Police say two people in the SUV suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. They were taken to a hospital.

The name of the man who died has not been released.
