Fleming on Thursday will visit Chicago High School for the Arts. She’ll be at Providence St. Mel School on Friday with singer Eric Owens, the star of Lyric’s current production of “Das Rheingold.”

Fleming plans to invite students during each visit to sing for a Lyric Opera camera crew. Videos of the students singing will be shared on the Chicago Voices website .

Chicago Voices is a community engagement project. It’s an initiative of Lyric Unlimited, a division of Lyric Opera, which aims to collaborate with communities throughout Chicago.
