Hillary Clinton has opened up a double-digit lead in the presidential race over Donald Trump, who was caught on tape over a decade ago bragging about forcing himself on women, a new poll said on Monday.

A NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows Mrs. Clinton has a 46 percent to 35 percent lead over Mr. Trump among likely voters. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson received the support of 9 percent of respondents and Green Party candidate Jill Stein received 2 percent.

The poll was conducted after the release of the audio and video recordings, but before the second debate Sunday, where Mr. Trump marched out three women who have previously accused former President Bill Clinton of sexual assault.

The poll showed that 29 percent of respondents have a positive view of Mr. Trump compared to 40 percent for Mrs. Clinton.
