PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a man has been arrested for allegedly starting a fire at a fireworks display in a west Phoenix Walmart four months ago.
Phoenix Fire Department officials say 20-year-old Tristen Demani Bailey has been booked into jail on suspicion of one count of arson of an occupied structure.
City fire crews and police officers responded to a Walmart on the night of June 15 and discovered someone had set fire to a fireworks display in the store.
The Walmart was evacuated and nobody was injured.
Authorities say the store sustained several million dollars’ worth of water and fire damage.
Fire officials investigated the case and identified Bailey as the suspect.
It was unclear Friday if Bailey has a lawyer yet.
