AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn has signed one of the top-rated recruiting classes in the country.

Coach Bruce Pearl announced three signees on Wednesday, including consensus five-star center Austin Wiley, four-star guard Davion Mitchell and four-star forward Chuma Okeke.

It was a consensus Top-5 group ranked as high as No. 2 nationally by Scout. Pearl called it “a historic class.”

Wiley is the program’s second five-star recruit, joining last year’s top signee Mustapha Heron.

The 6-foot-11, 255-pound Wiley is a consensus Top 20 prospect by the major recruiting services. The son of former Auburn All-Americans Aubrey Wiley and Vickie Orr averaged 22 points and 12 rebounds last season for Spain Park High School in Birmingham, Alabama.

Okeke and Mitchell both are rated among the nation’s top 60 prospects. C
