SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) - The Florida Panthers acquired Dylan McIlrath from the New York Rangers on Tuesday, in exchange for Steven Kampfer and a conditional seventh-round selection in the 2018 NHL Draft.
Both players are defensemen who have appeared in one NHL game this season.
McIlrath was the No. 10 overall pick in the 2010 draft, and had two goals and two assists in 38 games with the Rangers. Kampfer has 134 games of NHL experience with Boston and Florida, scoring nine goals and adding 14 assists.
